Bill Beck was trained as a clinical pharmacist to work with physicians to create optimal pharmacologic strategies to help manage patients’ medical needs.  After 10 years of clinical practice he joined The Upjohn Company in a career that included positions in sales & marketing, creation of continuing education programs for physicians, liaison between Upjohn researchers and university-based scientists (Medical Sciences Liaison), developing and delivering training programs, consulting on continuous improvement strategies and organizational design, and worldwide training and development of country managers in Europe, Asia, Australia, South America and Africa.

 

Certified to deliver various learning methodologies (7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Inside-Out Coaching, Targeted Selection, Large Account Management, SPIN Selling, Quality Function Deployment, among many others), Bill came to the realization that no learning intervention can carry an individual or company forward unless it is deeply embedded in and aligned with a principle-based strategy created to achieve a well-thought out purpose or vision.
