Tom Stanfield has worked as a business consultant in the role of Team Builder since 2008. He has been instrumental in establishing systems needed for many small businesses to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction. His strong background in recruiting and developing staff has been well received by multiple small businesses.
Previous to his consulting role, Stanfield worked for Mill Steel Company from 1991 until 2008. He joined Mill Steel Company as the Quality Systems Director and instituted their Quality Management System to comply with ISO9000. His responsibilities expanded and his title was changed to People Development Director as duties included recruiting, hiring, training and career development of their employees.
From 1983 to 1991 Stanfield worked at Kalamazoo Stamping & Die, a Ford parts manufacturer. At Kalamazoo Stamping, Stanfield held the roles of Industrial Engineer, Purchasing Director and Operations Manager, responsible for a multi-shift, multi-plant organization.
From 1965 to 1983 Stanfield worked for Checker Motors Corporation, the manufacturer of the Checker Cab and a parts manufacturer for GM. At Checker Stanfield held the roles of Industrial Engineer, Materials Manager and Purchasing Director.

John Keuning joined Express Employment Professionals in 2017 as the Director of Manufacturing Excellence. John has a passion to put his thirty years of manufacturing and leadership experience to work for companies by providing both classroom training and on site consulting in all areas of manufacturing. He has extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing theory and implementation as well as helping new and advancing leaders understand the day to day work of being a leader.
John has served multiple industries as a Supervisor, Lean Leader, Product Launch Leader, Production Manager, Plant Manager, and Director of Manufacturing. Through each experience, his main focus has been to help fellow leaders, direct reports, and team members to be their best while executing the daily duties of manufacturing.
John’s goal is to help develop leaders, engage workers, reduce the cost of goods, and increase profitability for companies by arming teams with tools necessary to be great agents of change. Supervisor Boot Camp, Advancing Excellence Series, and the Express Lean Series of classes are all part of this quest for excellence.
